How the shit does a jacket attain the attribute of "cute"?

If it isn't pink, purple, or some girly colour and isn't on a 4 year old...it's not cute.

It's a girl thing. They say EVERYTHING is cute.

Oh those shoes are cute!
Oh that skirt looks cute on you!
Oh, what a cute top!

My workplace is probably 80+% female... Fortunately, the ones in my area are younger and/or decent looking!

But nice jacket, Crayon!

I got this one here just at gap - http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...001&pid=472937

great for the fall, and much better looking than those god-aweful north face super puffy jackets.

CanadaGoose 08-30-2008 09:28 AM

^ Hey that's a nice jacket

HB20's jacket is pretty G too, wish I knew what it was so i could get that

Something with down and fur is pretty much the only thing you can wear when it goes -30, -40 where I live now http://www.clipartof.com/images/emot..._shivering.gif
For colder days I have a NF Gotham (2007 style), otherwise I wear an energie or a armani winter jacket

http://www.newsletterarchive.org/cac.../1/2067377.jpg like that, in black

Are they still selling this? How much was it after tax?

mickz 08-30-2008 11:33 PM

The Windrunner jacket is making a comeback this fall.

The original cost is $88.00
But since i work there,
i got it for 50% off =)

The new fall 08 items came in last week on wednesday, Metrotown has a few sizes left over, but I can always check other stores' stock to see if they have them or not.

Bought it today. It's so thin. I'm not sure it's worth keeping for $98 after taxes.

hal0g0dv2 09-01-2008 02:41 PM

g-star i find has really nice jackets
cant go wrong with a good north face also

Nintensity 09-01-2008 04:18 PM

nns...pmed you =)

kaitamasaki 09-01-2008 09:16 PM

I am in desperate need of something along the lines of the below criteria:
- doesn't scream brand names
- doesn't look like a garbage bag or is very showy
- warm enough for the cold winters here
- can survive in the rain (shells are too thin though)
- preferably not over $200
- not trench coat or peacoat, too mature looking for my age
- preferably not a ski jacket, but if it has nice colours then sure why not
