It's down again. :( it's been like this all week.
Alright, that's it, how do I get this site up and running 24/7. Whom do I have to speak with? I'm willing to take over! hah.

site is down again and has been for a few days now :( I have a feeling it'll never be back to the way it once was :(
I heard someone created a VPC.net ?? I signed up but it looks new. Not a lot of members and not a lot of threads being posted.

weak. I was a member on VPC since I was 14. I bought my 01 lude when I was 16 because of all the time I spent on that forum. Hell, I found the revscene website through VPC. Sad to see it go, even though I haven't been on in years.

european 11-05-2009 10:56 AM

Yea if it is really gone then that truly is a shame. :(
I guess there's always, preludepower, preludeonline, TPC and now this vancouverpreludeclub.net
Although none of those sites are as good as VPC.

!SG 11-05-2009 12:57 PM

me and another vpc member did some digging.

vpc.net looks to have been started by "bob the builder" from vpc. he drove that blue 5th gen that was supercharged from the states?

the person u want to look for to get in contact for vpc.com is charles, he owns the domain, and has the say as to the direction of vpc. Jake was doing a favor by providing the hosting of vpc for free and jonas was doing a favor by helping tech and maintain the site best as he could. the ultimate final decision as to where vpc would be headed is still in the hands of the owner. so if u guys are serious in helping and wanting to see vpc continue, contact charles, by phone, by email, by his friends.

vpc had been almost completely dead for a LONG time, I don't think it has or had anything better than the other big prelude sites, other than the local factor.

VPC will not go anywhere. It'll come back bigger and better. Watch!

Tough to say. I only received a message from the domain owner a couple of days ago. Im hoping that if I have admin access I can update the software. (provided there aren't issues importing the old threads to a new website). Im doing my best to work on it though. But a lot of it is not up to me. Not as this point anyways.

Im sorry that is hardly a replacement for VPC. Ahead of the game in what way? Any monkey can buy www.vancouverpreludeclub.net and get hosting. What of the threads in VPC?

Shun Izaki 11-08-2009 02:38 AM

lol VPC!!!

i thought it was dead permanently...

but there's been an influx of super-ricey preludes, i swear i see 10+ a day XD... makes me miss mine

just use the new one and call it the day.

But I guess u do have a point about the old threads that was on vpc, without those old threads vpc would pretty much be useless since only a handful of members still go on it. There wasnt much going on that forum anyways.

chucki 11-08-2009 11:48 AM

Ummm, If anyone of you are WHITE_TIGER from vpc, I bought those port plugs already, but I couldn't get back to the site to get the phone number to call you. PM me if you are WHITE_TIGER.

younglude 11-08-2009 05:37 PM

Ahh, good ol VPC.

ninjatune where you been?

I miss all those deas island meets haha.
