Thats what I heard as well...... before blowing all my money on bacc lol

Mr.HappySilp 05-10-2012 08:10 PM

I find GV tables to be more expensive than others like their 4 Card poker for example is min $10 while at other casino is only $5.

Also they only have 3 Card Poker, Unilated shoot out on Fri and Sat (somteimes Sun if it is a long weekend) while other Casnios have them all the time. Not to mention GV table is always full (for Texas Shootout, 3 card poker, 4 Card Poker, Umilate Poker) and you have to wait at least 30mins...... They need to have more tables and less slots.

PornMaster 05-11-2012 01:11 PM

Casinos rarely have $5 tables anymore.
I have only seen $5 at RR during mornings.

P.S. 4 card poker and 3 card poker etc have the worst odds ( not sure of shootout). Casino actually profits the most from those games, heard that from the supervisors.

Vale46Rossi 05-11-2012 02:10 PM

RR don't have $5. Anymore

But starlight still do on a regular basis now

Gh0stRider 05-25-2012 04:02 PM

I see where you are getting at, like singapore casino's they are trying to take money from other people and not their people, but guess what MOST players at the casino do have dual citizenship since we are a diverse community. It just wont work.

Gh0stRider 05-28-2012 01:37 PM

poker room number 604.453.0858

No It'll keep people who can't afford to be there from gambling because they will be hard pressed to pay the 50 dollar cover to enter the casino. Maybe not a big issue in Vancouver, but in smaller towns where people get their government aid checks and blow it on booze and casino.

I use to go pretty often spending $100 to $200(I knwo not much but I am not the gambling type) at least but if there is a cover fee I don't think I will go. Sometimes I even go there just for the food (Yam fries and their sandwiches are pretty good). Not to mention sometimes I go there to watch games and play a little bit as well. A cover free will turn me away for sure

WholeWheat 05-30-2012 06:49 AM

is the poker room busy? is there a 2/5 no limit running every night?

Gh0stRider 05-30-2012 08:44 AM

I didn't want to start a new thread, so I figure i'll just bump this one up.

My cousin is in town from the states, and is looking for a casino that doesn't use an auto-shuffler for blackjack. I read, from an old thread, that the casino at the quay in New West shuffled manually, but that post was from 2006. Any suggestions?
