All chans on bev are completely N3 as of 8:25 this morning. Hopefully dish will go down quick so we can get a fix when/if possible :(

Yeah, i have no doubt that they'll crack N3, the only question now is will our current boxes work or do we have to get new ones ?

I read somewhere that we'll be able to use our current boxes and any non carded boxes will be the first to work ;)

we'll more than likely be able to use our current boxes. it would surely suck to have to purchase another hd box. I already own a vs9000hdv2...

my bell 6141 hd box didn't need a new card when I subbed again, I find that kinda strange.. anyone know why? did bell plan way ahead for this card swap and build them into the new receivers, or was it just a simple software upgrade that older irds werent capable of?

If ALL channels have been migrated then the hackers will start working on them. They have to wait for full migration before doing anything...so hopefully we'll see a fix before the end of the year.

Where there is a will there is a way. For now but I highly doubt for good.

Nah we have to wait for Dish to complete their nag3 switch because if the coders crack it for bell and dish finds out then they'll just patch up their encryption again.
Down for now, when/if its up again is anybodys guess, we'll have to wait for dish to switch to nag3 before the coders can satrt their work.

anyway my cousin... has bell.. all channels.... but she doesnt need to do anything no updates or whatever... its been working all the time even when everyone elses has been down.. she wont tell me how she just says her exhusband got it for her -_- i can see some extra hardware w/leds in her bell unit but other than that no clue :/

it is probably just IKS.. ie eg if you own a bar and have all the channels, you can "share" it with a few of your closest friends.

Bell is down. I can only pick up a few CBC channels and HD but no picture. I think I might do the DirectTV deal where you pay like $200 for 6 months and get all the channels excluding PPV.

dishnet is up. files were posted lastnight just after the ufc ppv was over

DTV hasn't been cracked in like 4 years now... to bad since it was way better then dish / bell.

bell / dish would be wasting their time if they didn't come up with something just as good or better then DTV this time around.

i got my files before the ufc ppv and got to watch the whole thing.

did you guys have to manually repoint your dish to dishnet? I need help repointing it I don't have a motorized dish.
