Light meters

I'm not sure if anyone has ever asked this before, but I'm wondering if you guys are using light meters for your "daily/random" shots or you just shoot and fix the photos that didn't come out so well in Photoshop?

If you are using light meters, what are some good brands (and hopefully fairly affordable)?

Thanks!

Good brands would be the Sekonic or Kenko (formerly Minolta) light meters. I don't use it as much with digital, because you can look at the histogram in most cases. Never rely on the review image the screen is showing! I will use one in the studio to check lighting ratios though.

The Sekonic light meters also have a Pocket Wizard wireless trigger thingy that you put inside the meter.

It looks like an old Minolta meter. If it has the same guts, it should be pretty good, but the Sekonic L-308 might be better.
