that's just stupid, Nudies were here WAYYY before RnR and TR, they didn't even get that popular. People that buy RnR and TR care about the logos, nudies doesn't exactly show the logo as much as they do.

All this talk reminds me of the mid/late 90's when all the wannabe gangsters and nammers were wearing Versace clothing with the big logo and funny colors.

what do you even mean by that? ed hardy and rnr arent even alike in any way asides from the fact that they're mainstream. nudies has been around for a long time and even today they still arent very popular.. i rarely see people wearing them

Powerslide 12-01-2008 03:54 PM

do yourself a favor and dont wear those chachi douchebag brands.

edit: except Dussault. I like Dussault cause Jason Dussault is awesome, and I like his design philosophy etc. Its too bad his gear is falling into the category w/ Hardy and Audigier shit

Inaii 12-01-2008 04:25 PM

Twelve.

Tim Budong 12-01-2008 08:20 PM

whatever man
all that shit is played like no tomorrow
and has sucha bad following

what happened to the simple..styled clothing..i mean..friggin AF has polos that alot of ppl can wear, im not a big fan, but its CLEAN AND SIMPLE

welfare 12-01-2008 10:54 PM

i like it when my clothes aren't worn by everybody else like they're going out of style (which they are), yet can still be cutting edge

dave123 12-02-2008 12:52 AM

IF you own more than one item of Ed Hardy, Affliction or Christian Audigier thats one too many!!!

Dont you people know that this sh*t is out of style???
Let me guess, if you still like this stuff youre currently wearing an affliction tshirt, Ed Hardy Hoody, true religion jeans and an LV man purse strapped across your chest.
You may think you look cool but everyone else that sees you is laughing behind your back. I guess it's still cool if youre like in highschool.

Its like that gucci waist pouch that was in style about 6 years ago. It was hot on chicks that wore it on their hips. Then some dudes started wearing it and it was ok. But each year after you would see every surrey and abbotsford home boy wearing a fake one across their chest strolling robson street.

So here's a fashion tip - unless youre currently in the UFC or a Rock Star or Criss Angel its out of style!!! spend your money on something thats new and in. stay on top of the trends not way the f*ck behind

When you get old you can easily spot which people who make the clothes they wear and which who's clothes make them. Seriously, this brand stuff don't mean shit.

Yes there is. A 40+ yr. old mom wearing clothes a 16 yr. old will might look fine to you who I assume is in his teens or early 20's. But what about the demographic the mom belongs in?

Would you argue the same if your mom was wearing a mini skirt and tank top and every guy in the street eyeballed your mom in a dirty way like they would a sexually maturing teen?

yah Dussault is wicked... as you said unfortunately its categorize under those clothing brand. Well its all tattoo style apparel anyways..

MR_BIGGS 12-03-2008 09:36 PM

You make your outfit...your outfit doesn't make you....I think you can distinguish who fits in which category just looking at people in public...therefore there is no age limit...as long as your rocking the outfit..and the outfit is not rocking you..

seriously, if i see 40yr old men trying to act young & wear these, I'll literally lol

racerman88 12-04-2008 07:50 PM

wear it if you can afford it. Really over priced stuff in my opinion. Who pays $300 for a mens hoody?

skholla 12-04-2008 09:36 PM

ive paid more man $300 for a sweater but that was for a D&G, Prada, or BAPE... not some here today gone tomorrow shit, Von Dutch all over again crap by Chrisitan Audigier.

3xta 12-04-2008 10:36 PM

Von Dutch was designed by Christian Audigier. Even though hes a shitty ass designer, hes a fucking good marketer. That's for sure.

i know... to me von dutch was a fad but wasnt as bad looking as audigier or ed hardy. its seems like this guy is making uglier clothing and getting more popular at the same time.

his marketing is good as you say, going for that rockstar or ufc/wrestler tough guy look. i went to his store in soho new york and he had tonnes of pictures of him with celebs and tonnes of them just wearing his stuff.... give your crap away for free or pay celebs to wear it, now thats good marketing!

I see teenagers wearing EH hats and shirts to the gym. I can't stop laughing at them.

I wear last years fashions to the gym, yet I'm currently benching and squatting 2 plates ever since i started to workout again. Since I don't wear my ed hardy shit anymore I wear it to the gym. Same goes for my hats.

fatal 12-09-2008 06:23 AM

:werd: we're not in highschool anymore, this isnt a popularity contest. Some people would spend $300 on a hoodie, I'd rather take that $300 put it towards a big screen tv or something I can enjoy.

Supafly 12-09-2008 08:26 AM

lol, yesterday; i saw a 40+ year old C-lai lady wearing a black CA hoodie in richmond center....i laughed.

1. drug dealers and gangsters
2. rich, spoiled kids
3. kids who want to look rich but charge it on their credit cards.

Splmash 12-15-2008 11:48 PM

Go to Metrotown and you'll see all these little gangster Asian kids rocking out in those brands. It's very cute actually. They're Christian Audigier fan boys.
