Miku

Has anyone been yet?

I am thinking of taking clients here for a Christmas lunch or dinner.

never even heard of it, but if u're taking ur clients, i'm sure its pimping enough.
I'm sure the food is orgasmically good. the menu is pricey but i bet they use top ingrediences so let us know.

yeah but i try not to experiment on places when clients are involved. i'd rather take them to something that's a sure-bet.

I'm also trying to see if i can get a reservation for dB but i'm not holding my breath.

I drove past Miku last night, and from the outside it looks really amazing.

Aburi is seared.

That place is over-priced similar to Tojo's, but it may be a good place to take clients. I can't see this place lasting very long.

I think people are just used to paying for 1.99 for a 2 inch thick sashimi from all you can eat or even that "cambie street jap restaurnat with HUGE portions" that many don't appreicate as much of the freshness of tojos (or any other high-er end place).

it is still extremly expensive.

tojo is famous for the canucks / movie stars showing up from time to time.

again, i enjoyed tojos, i have never been to a jap restaurant and not having to use any wasabi or soya sauce, but again, it was expensive as fuck.

Video looks more interesting than Tojo's, can't imagine it being more overpriced.

.Renn.Sport 01-08-2009 08:33 PM

wow... all their staff fly in private jet!

unit 01-09-2009 09:06 AM

i've had equally fresh sushi for half the price, thanks.
tojo's has unmatched cooked food though.
