woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo e90 replacement here i come |
looks pretty cool. |
looks amazing! looking forward to playing with one for a while! |
The Widgets on the homescreen is an awesome idea. Wonder if its tactile feedback for the touchscreen |
|
So.... Rogers going to carry this like it did the N95...? |
^Is that a serious question? If you want the answer, you're going to have to wait till the latter half of 2009 before anyone can even give you an educated guess. |
|
iPhone will sh*t on it like it does every phone. slow ass symbian os |
|
i dont know whats worse. the iphone or the iphone fanboy |
i dont' know what's worse. your mom or me doing your mom. On topic tho, I'm glad that nokia has finally got back on the bandwagon. No more N81 designs! Yay to Qwerty! As this is their first n series qwerty phone, i'd like to see how they do. but i'm sure i'd blow the iphone out of the other stats-wise. heheh I JUST HOPE HOPE HOPE that rogers won't carry it . PLEASSSSEEEE ROGGERSS! |
what does my mom have to do with this? Grow-up. mod. if you don't like what i just said im pretty sure delete botton is available. |
looks a great phone...Tactile feedback FTW!! but i don't understand why people are bashing the iphone when making comparisons. By the time this phone is supposedly released..the iphone would have out for at least 18-19 months. In cell phone years..that is a LOONNG time. |
^I suppose you've never heard of benchmarking? |
Another video. Looks very responsive and not laggy at all. |

There are objective and subjective comparisons. Like comparing, Intel Quad Core to AMD Dual Core - different time frames. I believe the iphone is the current market leader in touchscreen phones for now so it makes sense to use that as a benchmark, so I can understand the comparison. But to me it makes more sense to compare to newer touch screen phones such as the BB Storm, Xperia etc. |

The G1 and the iPhone are unique in that they are capacitive touchscreens rather than resistive, touchy-layer-over-screen things like the one on the N97. IMHO capacitive is mostly better than resistive in that the colours and response is much better, but at the cost of easily being interfered by electromagnetic stuffs. |
Look at the Querty Keyboard. 3 rows, and one small spacebar key. looks like i've got some adapting to do ;) otherwise, just saw the vid, VERY responsive. looks like my new 2009 toy ;) |
The fact that a Japanese bloke designed it is nice and ironic, being that Nokia's GTFOing out of Japan. :lol |
A bit disappointed that they're still using the 5MP camera that they've had for awhile now. Other than that it looks like a solid phone, one I'm probably going to get when it comes out. |
