if a hot chick is sitting next to you, whip out the cell phone and start texting your friend "there's a hot chick next to me, what should i say?". hold the phone a little far away from yourself, just enough to look like normal texting but far enough that she can read it. this is an indirect way of complimenting her, and could spark a conversation
