Champagne Shoot Out ROUND 1 The Champagne Shootout Round 1 COMPETITION FORMAT: - 4 Rounds of Competition - Winner of each round will go on to compete in the finals (Round 5) - Grand Prize winner will be awarded with a trophy. DATE: Saturday January 10th, 2009 LOCATION: Granville Island Emily Carr Building Open Briefing Starts at 1pm - This meeting is mandatory for all photographers to go over the rules. First Photographer Start Time: 1:15pm Second Photographer Start Time: 1:40pm Third Photographer Start Time: 2:15pm Fourth Photographer Start Time 2:40pm RULES OF COMPETITION: 1) You have 20 minutes to photograph from the moment you start setting up. You may walk anywhere in the area to use as a back drop, however once you begin setup the timer will start. The 20 minutes also includes the take down of your equipment. Failure to complete the task will result in disqualification. You may ask the timer to call out remaining time to keep you on track. 2) You must post your best photo on this thread for voting by 10pm the next day. Failure to do so will result in disqualification. 3) Touch ups are allowed but you must post the original untouched image beside the finished image. 4) Submitted files must be 800px at the longest length. 5) Winning photographer will send the photograph in the dimensions 12x18" to info@threesixtyphoto.com for printing and mounting. This will be for a gallery at the end of the 5 rounds. 6) A photographer cannot enter back to back competitions so that others may have an opportunity to register and compete. 7) Trophy will be awarded to the winner of Round 5 (Competition between winners of each round). First 4 to sign up for this competition will get spots in this round. |
