You don't see the thread here for textbook buy and sell?

For me, SaveOnBook.com has been good, just to add to the above list.

i've found the best way is around the beginning of classes, just have the book in your backpack

stand by your book in the bookstore... when someone picks it up, just tell them you have a used copy for sale, and undercut the UBC Bookstore used price by 10-20 bucks and you just do the transaction outside...

i've done this many times, and it never takes me more than 10-15 mins to sell the book

You get hot chicks sometimes who are like, "So what's your phone number? I'll text/call you sometime."

Win.

:)

illegal

RCubed 01-11-2009 04:05 PM

^how is that even illegal? Im not a store, its a private sale.

absolution 01-11-2009 04:08 PM

you can do it outside , but not within the UBC bookstore.
They have a paper with all the policy in there; and they can report it to the police if you are caught

RCubed 01-11-2009 04:43 PM

Well obviously the transaction is done outside.
Your reading comprehension is sub par.
