| Best Burger Joint
Looking for some extraordinary burgers and fries. I've tried Burger Etcs and other restaurants and was just wondering what you guys think is the best burger place in the lower mainland? Post place's name and your rating and reasons why! |

Burger Etc on Hastings won the CTV best burger before and it was ALRIGHT. It wasn't really anything to write how about though they make it fresh and you get to see how they make it. It was a regular burger for the most part.
I still love Bon's jumbo burger.

Moderne Burger (W. Broadway) or Red Onion (41st near Arbutus) for me.

#1 burger in Vancouver has to be the db Bistro Modern Burger , its a bit pricey at $28 but its really really good. Sirloin, short rib and truffle. The meat melts in your mouth.

The best CHEAP AND TASTY burger I've had was at, believe it or not.....Save-On Meats in the DES. $4.50 cheeseburger, can't remember the fixin's (lettuce, tomato, maybe onions, ketchup and mustard?), genuine unprocessed cheese, but the highlight, freshly ground DOUBLE pattie. I'm talking about straight from the meat market at the front of the store. Soooooo soft and juicy! Fries were nothing to brag home about but still good. The fact that the whole cooked food section resembled a old 70's diner (spinning stationary stools, mustard yellow sparkly counter etc) was just gravy on top!
Being a burger buff myself, other places that I've enjoyed a burger...
- Vera's (Daily special's FTW!)
- Cedar Cottage Neighborhood pub's Cottage burger (~$10)
- The Whip's Sirloin burger (~$14, lots of fries!)

I still enjoy Vera's burgers. Probably not the best out there, but they are pretty good. Probably the best in Surrey at least. Then again, not much competition out this way.

Went to Cafe Crepe before, I personally enjoyed the burger. It was like 10 bucks I think for a burger with unprocessed swiss or cheddar cheese, the usual fixings and McDonald like fries (my favourite).
