I get searched 85% of the time at least. no record, not in their system, never caught for anything

why does 97 kilograms of cocaine is worth $13,620,000,

when 218 kilograms of cocaine is valued at $29 million?

It roughly equates to the same price/kg if you calculate it out. $130K vs. $140K i think...

Ohkun 12-28-2008 12:07 PM

omg like why do people care SO MUCH about cocaine like all the rappers and ballers are just going OFF about it like its some sort of white gold its so stupid.

like why would these truckers risk their lives and jobs to sneak coke for some guy just to make an extra few dollars when they take all the risk but get none of the benefit like is that even fair?

if so many people have pot grow shows then like why don't people grow coca in their basements? god so stupid

bossxx 12-29-2008 05:19 PM

Because there are always going to be a group of people willing to take x amount of risk for x amount of $ regardless if they are a driver or whatever.

If a trucker who takes home $2,500 a month is offered a one time job to move 25 kegs across the border for $15,000 (im just making these figures up) i'm guessing a lot of them would do it depending on the scenario. You have to get into their mind. Like say they go across the border almost everyday for 12 years and they get random checks once every 2 months or so. Think about what he is probably thinking.

If you put someone who takes home $4,000 a month the same opportunity he would probably request a lot more money simply because he doesn't need the money as badly as the first guy.

If you put a 17 year old kid in the same situation he would probably do it for even less than the first example. You have to look at the people who are doing this. Not only their brains but also how much risk they are willing to take to justify the amount of money they are willing to receive. Every individual who is ready and willing to break the law to make extra income for themselves has a price. It's really not that complicated.

The benefits for the guy who organizes everything is his own reward. Anyone can do it so why do you make it sound like the trucker is getting the shitty end of the stick? The trucker agreed to this job and he thought he was getting a fair deal, otherwise he wouldn't do it. Why doesn't the trucker just organize everything and be his own boss? lol

Coke is fun, for people who can not get addicted to it, it can be very fun to do while partying. Unfortunately some people abuse it, and it's illegal. Still, people get it, and it's never very difficult to get. Seems like legalizing it is a far better solution?

Shrug

El Bastardo 12-29-2008 06:29 PM

Uh. Actually, the little git has a good point. How hard is it to grow coca, anyway? With the amount of times my mom's old rental house was busted for fuckup tenants turning it into a pot growshow you'd think one would mix up the game every once in a while.

xyz123 12-29-2008 07:18 PM

WOW border guards sure are doing a good job.

SlowRider 12-30-2008 06:52 AM

i dont think its illegal to grow cocoa plants either ...bonus ++

DJ Milk 12-31-2008 06:39 PM

That's because you still have to convert that coca leaves into powder cocaine so you would also need some weird chemicals that most likely have to be imported. So it's a lot easier to import the finished product then it is to import the chemical and then refined the leaves into powder and dump the waste afterwards. If it was that easy, then a lot of people would already be doing it

with the recession that's going on, I wouldn't be surprised if the police indirectly sells it on the streets
