WTB: Small, cheap (< $100) 8"/10" sub/box/amp setup As title says. Just want something cheap to give a bit of boom-boom for my Miata. Low end brand name could be fine; preferably nothing like Pyle/Pyramid/XSCargo Brand :p Main thing is that it's gotta be small, so no giant boxes. Ideally 8" will work, box under 10" tall. A 10" sub in a box ~12" tall will also work, but box cannot be wider than 16" The cheaper the better as long as everything is in working condition and won't catch fire or fry the car's electronics :p Looking at something under $100. Pls PM with dimensions of box if possible. |
i got a sony sub in a home made non carpeted box 10" WITH amp, pumps really nice $100 for the setup. |
Hmm, too much for an Xplod with DIY unfinished box. Thanks for the offer though. |
bump with added dimensions. |

bump, recovered from xmas spending! |
It doesn't really matter what sub you get if its going in the trunk of your miata, with the gas tank between you and the trunk you wont hear much of anything. |
... which is why I am not wanting to spend over $100 on this. Really, I just want something to screw around with and install over a boring weekend for fun. |
mtx 10" sub with box and ultimate t2 amp $100 for all. |

do you do sub installations, if so how much? pm me |
Just do what I did, build a small box and stick it in the passenger footwell. If you use a Kicker 8" square woofer you could get it even smaller than the 10" I used. |
i got a pretty nice setup it's a kenwood all in one system the box is kenwood with a built in amp in the side and it comes with an upgraded sub in there. I had the original which wasn't that great so i brought another kenwood sub and put it in the manufactorers box with the built in amp and it's decent bass let me know if you want it i can give you pictures or video ... take it away for 100$ firm. |
