Xbox controller question... Do these things suck ass with batteries or did I just get a shitty one? I picked up my system used, but have gone through 4 Energizer batteries in about a month. Is this normal? |
get the rechargeable battery |
+1 and unless you play them 24/7, 2 Energizers should last you at LEAST a month. Heck I logged a lot of time on FO3 and my rechargables havent been changed for a month and a half. |
Month sounds right mine last about 2 since i rarely use it unless i'm in the mood for nhl 09 or saints row 2.. I have 4 controllers for my wiii and 2 for xbox and i run through maybe 10 AA's a month... Free company batteries FTW |
use the rechargeable batteries that you would use for camera's and other high battery draining electronics |
I am using wired controller :lol Unless it's Wii remote, otherwise it's no point using wireless. |

thats just becuz ur room is small :p |
I have a separate room for video gaming. I hate friends cramming in my room |
I would have to use like 5 usb extension cords to reach my TV from my couch, and then people would trip over them. wireless FTW. your first mistake was getting an XBOX, but no that you have one get some high quality rechargables and run on thsoe. |
speaking of which. the battery life indicator on my xbox (when you push the Xbox button) never goes below half. as soon as it gets to 2 of 4 bars remaining, the controller starts to flash and it dies withing half an hour. im using pretty good panasonic rechargables. i get maybe 20 hours on a charge |
