Looking Into Purchasing Private Dental Insurance

Can anyone give me some insights?

I am looking to purchase the one with the maximum dental coverage.

It will be for my parents and grandparents (both over 65). I found a number of insurance companies that offer private dental insurance and they are all anywhere between $100 a month.

Does this mean that if I purchase the insurance, I can get reimbursed right away? Do I have to stay under some sort of yearly contract that prevents me from opt-outs?
