help with this problem okay so i go start up my car and it doesnt start up try to boost it electrical stuff goes on but engine doesn't what can be the problem?? i was thinking about the alternater being dead and also like to ask if anyone knows if toyota's warranty cover it b/c i just got the car in march and only has 6000km on it |
things you need to know compression... fuel.... spark... cam timing..... ignition timing..... so just cancel out.... check battery.... if it doesnt crank check starter and terminals...... |
if you got the car in march it should have road side assistance just call them and tell them to come fix it. |
Yup~! |
so i called toyota service and they told me that i gotta get it towed there so now i think i will just use road side assistance now where did i put that number... any recommendations on which toyota service that has excellent service cuz some just plan suck |
is the engine turning over? if its not even turning over, then check to see if the battery. if the battery is fine, check to see if u blew a fuse. |
okay so they sent a tow truck over he tried to start up my car after like 15 attempts to start it.... amazingly it starts up now he says that its bad gas. im not sure if it is entirely true any opinions on it?? once he started the car a huge cloud of exhaust came up from the muffler i filled up, right when the big snow storm started, at esso on victoria and kingsway when they had gas at 78.9 and i always filled up my car there include my minivan and never had a problem with it i'm gunna bring in the car to toyota on the weekend and get them to check it out |
after reading a couple of forums some people have the same problem with their cars too they say that its a drive train issue or need an update on the ECM i have no idea wut is ECM |
