Black berry storm or HTC Touch Diamond ?
 

hi, im with bell right now and i can get a phone upgrade in february and i cant seem to choose between htc touch diamond or the black berry storm

if theres any other phones to check out please say so
i really want a new phone =\

do you text a lot? i've always thought the screen on the diamond looked way to small to text comfortably. don't have either phone though to be fair.

HTC Touch Diamond = Slow...its nice...REALLY nice...small, slick...tried my friend's yesterday...and DAYUUMM...its super slow......(and im coming from an iphone(iphones are laggy if not rebooted once in a while)

Blackberry Storm = Again...its slick and all...but IF possible...try typing with it before you buy it...cause you can't type fast since you have to wait for the whole screen to pop back up before pressing the next button...thers about .25-.5sec delay every key...making long sms/browsing a b*tch

dusnt bell have the htc touch pro? id look to that instead of the diamond. the touch pro is a lot quicker too

htc diamond is a piece of shit. i got it for some insane price on craigslist and then sold it for half of that a few days later. what a piece of shit phone is all I can say. iphone or storm will both be much better alternatives

I am an HTC die hard nut. I have the HTC Tytn. Rogers offered me the Diamond for 99 bucks, after looking into the phone its junk. Don't get me wrong, I love HTC but there are too many problems with battery life, only 4gig on board memory not expandable and no slide out keyboard.

If you can get the Touch Pro, you'll love it. Kicker is, as the larger MicroSD cards come out, you can swap in a larger one. I've got an 8gig in my Tytn and may order the 16gig soon.

If you love to tweak your phone update Roms and install tons of apps, Pocket PC / Windows Mobil can't be beat.

If you are looking for a rock solid phone, and don't want to mod it, go for the Blackberry.

IIRC The Camera on the Touch Pro is a 3.2mp camera. Not earth shattering good. But good enough to get decent images from, and good enough to take emergency pisc at the scene of an accident with, or pics of a for sale sign on a car you see.

For the record, my wife had the HTC Touch, and rogers offered her the Touch Diamond for free. Even though I personally don't like the phone after playing with it for a few days, and updating the software on it. Its not a BAD phone. Just lacks all the featurs I want. (keyboard, MicroSD expansion) The built in GPS works fairly well. It is Vision capaple. Not sure if we will ever use it, but its nice to know that you can if you want.
