buying stuff online from bestbuy.

Allright, heres the deal.
I bought something Dec.26 from bestbuy. I combined payment of $200 from my gift card, and 300$ from my credit card.

Only 300 has been billed to my visa, but my gift card balance still shows up as 200. When will it be deducted? Or did it not register? is this something to be worried about?

EDIT: oops...i just realized you made this purchase online (duh!). I have no idea how the online procedure works. They might deduct it later.

sounds like you got a free $200.
The Gift card should have been deducted the moment they swiped it.

i got my computer already. all that i'm worried about is if I make any purchases with this card, and then they find out and trace my transactions back to my original one with the credit card.
i think i'll wait another month, they're online procedure to deduct gift cards might take a while.
it doesn't make sense though, i've received my item, but they haven't taken payment.
