powertrain warranty or not?

Hi all,

Hope this is the right forum for this. I need help deciding weather to get warrant or not...just picked up a 2001 330ci with 58,000 kms. on it 5-speed manual...warranty for engine and tranny is $2500 would you get it or not??

how long of a warranty is it?

it might be worth it. just read the fine print.

its $2500 for 4yrs. or 80,000kms.
well since it only covers engine and tranny...i guess what i'm trying to find out is...has anyone had problms with manual tranny on Bimmers?

For the most part, most of my customers that i get don't have any issues with the e46 engine/drivetrain.

or for $2600 i get 3yrs. or 60,000kms. but it covers bumper to bumper....or just don't bother getting it at all??
