Cops swarm Granville Island?
 
Just drove past granville island and they seem to have cops everywhere, not to mention one of the parking lots were taped off.

What's going on?

If it was gang related it might be in the news. If it's related to suicide than it usually stays out of the news, unless someone wants to jump off a bridge and they need to close the bridge down.
