Security Positions available PT/FT

The Company which I work for is in need of Security Officers, this is a great opportunity for those of you looking for a career in Policing. With experience at healthcare facilities as a Security Officer it makes it so much easier to get in. Hey it makes your application look better anyways. The authorities know what exactly entails working in Healthcare, you get to deal with people such as bums to people with psychiatric issues with high potential of violence. So if your interested let me know, curent positions available at VGH in Vancouver. Starting wage at healthcare sites are $12-14/hour and it goes up depending on experience and training. Not bad if you ask me, definitely better then working at McD's or Walmart. All training is provided at the Company's expense.

Requirments:
19 years old
no criminal record.

If you're interested send your resume to vgh@paladinsecurity.com

The company has a dental and medical plan available.

Which hospital would this be? Does it come with benefits? or do I need to pay extra?

EDIT: just noticed it's in VGH

If you have first aid would that help? I currently hold a Occupational First Aid Level 2 license, and how much would it be then?

Since you will be working at a hospital, I would leave those first aid duties to the professionals if I were you unless you really are the only person around or are eager about performing CPR on people who are HIV and Hep C positive.

A life is a life regardless and ironic as it people do get injuries at the hospital ie falling down stairs, fainting, slipping..etc.. So what if they have HIV or Hep C? there are mask/gloves all around the hospital. Protect yourself before you protect others. I'm sure the security there would have to survey the scene and write a first aid report.

MrBlonde 02-09-2009 06:18 PM

if this job involves working in a morgue. PM ME RIGHT NOW. i would be all over that

SiRV 02-09-2009 10:28 PM

lol.. i saw the coolest dead bodies at this job.. you develop a Strong stomach.
BTW; most first aid stuff you do is mainly for WCB purposes so, needle stick injuries, getting hurt using machines.. nothing major like.. people having heart attacks
