just a few things when playing online.

don't play no limit. You will get robbed. Too many "colluders" out there. The only time I found poker playable online is 10-20 limit.

IMO the best way to have fun playing for real money but cover yourself at the same time is to play non turbo SNG's. Just came in second in one, and it had enough ups and downs to make it really exciting! I was at the bottom with a $300 stack for a long time due to a suck out flush draw. Then the same thing happened for me, so I got back into it big time. It was fun as hell, and I won a decent prize :)

If you read the site in my sig, I guarantee you'll get better. Especially start with the series on positional play.

SNG's are nice, but you still have to pay a shit load of money if you want people to take the game seriously. 2 Nights ago I saw my brother lose a 1500 dollar pot, capping the bet preflop with aces and 2 clowns decided to recap the bet on the flop and the turn only to hit a straight on the river.

Online poker is only good if you like to see alot of hands very quickly. Although I know some sites defianetly rig the system to create more "action" flops. I'm not complaining though, I've made a small fortune from online poker back when I was injured and unable to work =)

Things like "action flops" are usually only seen when you really look for them ;)

Then again, I can't count how many times I've folded a 2-7 or 3-7 just to see I would have made pair had I called :lol

As long as you stick to a super tight-aggressive style, you are pretty much guaranteed to break the bubble. I was playing while drinking tonight and did stupid shit and came in 4th :(
