The new season starts today with Ted Danson as Lawrence Fisburn's replacement. I'm an avid follower of the show and its great how one person doesn't make the show and it continues to get better.

Yeah for this season..kind of throws off my routine for Thursday. Especially since Fringe is now on Friday's.

Suprised no one talks about this original CSI. last night episode was really good. anyone else watching this series?

I did...I thought it was one of the best in a long time...not quite sure when Catherine is leaving the show...but it is soon.

I haven't watched yesterday's episode yet, but I just looked it up, and next week will be her last show, although she may very well return for some special episodes, just not a regular cast member anymore.

Yeah it was really good. Alot of action and emotion in it. Can't wait for next weeks

It was a good show up till the last few minutes. There's no way she's walking away from that shootout. As if the couch and SUV door would block that gunfire.

Of all the impossibilities in that show (including all of the "lab work") and that's the one you focus on?

LOL I'm willing to overlook a lot of science stuff cause it makes for good TV, while in real life that stuff is impossible or takes months.

yet standing up and taking a couple shots while being sprayed with gunfire... come on, she's not Chuck Norris.

Agreed. But its amazing with the change of actors from the first showing this CSI is still going. I don't think she will be gone forever. I feel she will be back maybe for a two episode stint somewhere down the line.
