i got an 08 Si sedan. i like it a lot. some of my buddies don't realize my car is a 4dr, for instance this morning. my buddy opens the front door and reclines the seat forward.. then i told him i have doors in the back.. hahaha, he has been in my car before too.. 4dr Si FTW!

Too funny! :haha:

Psykopathik 01-18-2009 07:02 PM

wowow his thread exploded lol!

the reason i want 4 drs is I need to think about "mini Turbo's" in my future lol.

who knows? 2dr doesnt cut it any more.

my other choice is an older WRX.

as to the disposition of my Current parked ride, i dunno what to do. its most likely an ignition problem. i have gas and power. my Crane AMP may be shot.

at any rate, i dont think i wanna go throught the hassle of throwing more time and $ into this car. it has served me well and should be retired :crybaby:

if anyones is interested, throw me some offers.

brief rundown of the car:

I prefer the sedan version. not used to see coupes since there are no coupes in where i'm from. sedan in CSX form are the hottest.

poweredbyph 01-18-2009 07:28 PM

^^Hmm strange. There are just too much coupes out on the road.

Psykopathik 01-18-2009 07:37 PM

Went to a dealership to check one out today. oooh its nice, but 30K nice???? i dunno....

GordonTse 01-18-2009 07:54 PM

yea, 30K is pricey, but its a pretty nice car.. i love rev'ing to 8000K hahaha!! VTAKKK!

BoS_DC2 01-18-2009 08:09 PM

High five!

I prefer Si Sedans over the Coupes

GordonTse 01-18-2009 08:29 PM

i guess i'm biased because i drive a 4dr..

Yeah... but it's the best bang you can get for that much money if you're getting a new car. For the same amount you can get a cooperS or a GTI but I wouldn't :S

How are your options for used cars?

Or you could get a mazdaspeed 3 for roughly 30k

poweredbyph 01-19-2009 12:02 PM

^^How about a WRX265? Best bang for the buck and it is pretty much as fast a STI, on streets that is.

vo_hantu 01-19-2009 12:02 PM

whoa the sedans are pretty sweet.

wrx 256???? whats that?

Alatar 01-19-2009 03:35 PM

WRX265 (265hp). It's this year's model of the WRX, basically got an extra 41hp, and some extra torque. Uses the same turbo as the STi, slightly difference boost specs obviously.

Better suspension and handling than last year's WRX (224hp) and just overall a funner car than last year. Only available in 5spd, though. I know you might have trouble with that, Turbo E. :)

kc1337 01-19-2009 04:05 PM

Some people just prefer N/A over boosted, this is probably one of those cars where its rewarding to drive keeping the car in the powerband.

its actaully 8200rpm before rev-limiter, with hondata reflash it's 8600 i think and lowered vtec engagement etc.

Psykopathik 01-20-2009 08:14 AM

what really sux is im tired of driving stick (maybe its the race clutch talking) but i kinda want auto now :( im sick of suffering for raw power/performance (noise vibration etc)

B4N M3 01-20-2009 05:15 PM

I LOVE the new Civics...drove my buddy's '08 LX 4-door on a 2,000km roadtrip a while ago and it was a ton of fun...I actually prefer the sedan's looks over the coupe's...and the 4door Si is awesome...

btw...your car looks great...too bad it's dead :( and Idiocracy is a wicked movie (quote in your sig)

KindeR 02-09-2009 03:52 PM
