Looking for something similar to the R-strap Hi everyone, I've been looking at this product, the r-strap and its been getting really good reviews http://blackrapid.com/rs4.php# I'd like to get one but its like 50 bux US for a strap. I'm wondering if someone has seen something similiar in idea locally. I was thinking I could make my own from a padded strap from MEC and some hooks or something but my skills in camera gear crafting is pretty shitty. |
Crumpler has the Industry Disgrace camera strap. https://www.crumpler.ca/Lite/English...ace-ID02A.html Beau or Lens & Shutter will have it for a lower price than the Crumpler strore. |
Hey senna, that doesn't look too bad. I'll read up on some reviews of it. Any other ones that you recommend? |
The Domke straps are good too, but not very stylish. http://www.tiffen.com/displayproduct...temnum=745-1BK |
whats so special about all of these straps? |
I like the idea of the r-strap because it looks comfortable and you have quick access. One photography podcast I listen to, the photographers can't shut up about how great this thing is so I've been interested in getting a strap similar to this. I may just make my own knockoff with some parts |
When you know you don't want to spend $50 on a strap, it's time for a DIY. Looks like you can get that done for under $10 |
mine cost zero dollar, an old unless bag strap does the trick too, as long as the hooking part able to slide along the strap. |
