take their door off the hinges, remove the trim around the door as well, put a piece of drywall in the doorframe, flush to the wall, plaster it and paint it to match. unscrew the light nearest the door so it's dark. wait for them to come home and panic as their room is gone. once they start to figure it out, they'll have th punch through the drywall to get back in. this works best if they've been out drinking the whole night.
for added effect, and possibly injury, stick a 2x4 in the middle of the door frame, so if he tries to just jump through, he'll crank a piece of wood on the way through.
