| What are some good alternative sites to revscene?
There have been some recent changes to revscene that have upset me. I even received some points had the post deleted for stating my honest opinion on the situation.
I don't think this post is flaming, but if it post disappears, you know whats what.
I'm looking for other sites similar to revscene that I can check out. If you have any ideas but don't want to post here, PM me.

I doubt you'll be able to find a mix like RS anywhere else. This site has been 10 years in the making and has a rather unique group of individuals.

Sad that RS needs to pay the bills.
Keeping a FREE website is no easy task and RS needs some income to pay for servers. Unless you are willing to foot the bill, the ads are necessary.

Yes when it first started and a couple years in I remember there being a donation system in place... I think it probably resulted in about $25 of donations... they also tried things like donating to get a custom avatar or to add a special line under your name and they do bring in money but obviously not enough to offset costs IMO.

I've now bought at least 10 lanyards, and they've all broken on me... damn made in china  nothing like the old lanyards that lasted forever, and I just had to lose it

revscene is a good site, even though it has changed quite a bit since it started.
a lot of other site out there, but it really depends on what you want to be reading about and stuff. i personally go to 2 forums, here and offtopic.com

I agree rs isnt what it was when i joined, mods had a go at me for telling some1 whos pregnant to fish the baby out with a coathanger. I thought that was solid advice

I would suggest VX as an alternative if they were still around.hahah its filled with JBs there and high school gangsta wannabes
other than that, if you're intrested in cars, then theres lots of forums specific for many brands/models of cars.
Aside from RS, I goto the US mazda forums mostly and clubRSX and NASIOC buy/sell
