I find that offensive, could you rephrase that to "african candian hair stylist who is well skilled in styling a fade into your hair". Thank you.

air hair salon in metrotown

look for angela

Anyone check the date of the first post here? Nonetheless..

I get my cuts at S2 hair salon in cosmo plaza, on cambie and garden city in Richmond. Goes for about $22 I think? With wash and styling. There's lots of magazines there and service is great

GoneGuru 01-31-2011 11:08 AM

I always go to Athens in Metrotown, located just under the food court next to the elevator. 20 bucks with tip. Go to Angela, she's the best one IMO.

Definitely not. Specially since I get my hair cut every two weeks...

That's a lot of money adding up fast... haha.

cliffhanger33 01-31-2011 05:45 PM

Go for Air or Zeal

noholo 01-31-2011 10:37 PM

I can't justify getting a $50 men's hair cut as well.

The most I ever spent for a cut/wash/style was $35+tip, and I thought that was pricey.

I just head to Impulse Hair Salon on W.Broadway beside MEC for $25 tips incl.

guten 02-07-2011 10:40 PM

My new haircut cost me 10 bucks =):speechless:

king_2011 03-06-2011 11:03 PM

don't go to 3G nice underneath Ninkazu Japanse resturant in the mall between aberdeen and parker because its just crap and not worth your time. A buddy had to wait an hour sitting there after getting his hair washed. He couldn't leave cause they already washed it so he just waited for an hour for the hair stylist. I heard they do this with all their customers to prevent ppl from leaving when it gets busy. That place is also full of highschoolers acting all hardcore smoking in front of the place staring you down when you walk in. Highly not recommended.

hotong 03-13-2011 05:11 PM

tsubaki hair express

_inwonderland 03-13-2011 10:11 PM

Oh dear, I had THE worst experience ever at Tsubaki. My mom could cut hair better (and she used to cut it all uneven). I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy!

TypeRNammer 03-13-2011 10:56 PM

Most I've ever spent is 15 bucks with tips, cut and shampoo :p

taylorrr 03-14-2011 04:37 PM

$10 haircuts ftw :fullofwin:

Spidey 03-23-2011 07:44 PM

From my experience,

Jacks : Good but it is pretty damn pricey for what you get and the skill of their stylist.. they charge abotu 42 now

Air: Been there twice... I actually got a better hair cut from the stylist than their master stylist.. the master stylist spent about 15 mins.. worked really fast, maybe because she's super efficient? I dunno but the cut was OK. Prices are not that bad there (metro)

I think with all stylist.. they have the education and experience, but unless you tell them specifically what you want, you won't be happy, unless you have an open mind. From now on, I am going to go in with a pic.

I plan to check out Tim as mentioned, and also Ark.

To those who are knocking on us who spend 30+ on our hair, I bet you still use dippity doo gel, and probably :forever alone
