The ads on the left is annoying
 

I don't like ads, but I don't mind them either especially when everything is free, but ads on the left on the forum index is very annoying :(

can we move it to the right? or the top? or the bottom?

Does RS get more money for having the ads on the left vs right/bottom/top/left??

Doesn't it make more sense on the left? The scroll bar is on the right.

I think it is annoying on the left because it is only on the forum indexes, but not on a thread.
So it is like your reading start point keep jumping around when you go from index to threads

I prefer it on the right. I prefer the forums to be aligned to the left hand side. But who cares what I prefer, I'm not paying a cent.

i think the ad placement on the left is somewhat temporary. eventually they'll add a navigation box and probably append the ads below it...so the ads will be less annoying.

i guess placing it on the left or right is a matter of opinion...maybe get a poll going or something if it annoys u that much, and if enough ppl want it on the right maybe they'll change it.

It's been discussed already. We'll consider the feedback.

We need the ads to pay for RS. Don't forget that.
