Anyone work at dealership? Honda Fit Sport price margin? do you guys know Honda Fit Sport's price margin? the salesman told me he can't give me much discount because there is only $800 margin on the car, I was thinking more like almost $2000. Is this true or is he lying? so the MSRP is $19,280, does this mean the dealships are purchasing them for $18,484? thanks *edit* also could you tell me the margin for options(like window visors, floor mats, etc)? |
hahahah you're getting a fit, are you going to add a huge spoiler and fat body kit with 12 inch rims? |
the margin for cheaper cars like the fit are tiny, last time I checked the fit sport only made dealerships $500. The best way to get a deal would be to get them to throw in visors or floor mats with the car. |
$500? seriously? what about parts? |

the markup on most econ boxes are less than a grand 800 sounds about right on a Fit, unless they have "creative" ways of importing cars, which you will never know. |
thanks do you have any ideas about parts? I mean option parts. |

i don't understand why the margin is so low, especially when the states sell it msrp for like 2 to 3 grand cheaper after conversion |
5-8 sounds right. my friend works at honda before, the old gen fits, only made 700 in margin. get free floor mat, visor, and maybe touch up paint.. you cant really ask for much for a car under 20k now a days in terms of free addons |
the margin on the fit is VERY small... almost non-existent. so yes, he wasn't bullshitting you. |

Two of my friends have used it and was able to negotiate a fair price for their cars. |
