Mirror's Edge Havn't seen a thread on this yet, so i'm assuming a lot of you guys havn't heard of it Anybody play this? One of my favorite games, personally. Official site - http://www.mirrorsedge.com/ Trailer - http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=2N1TJP1cxmo |
i heard about it looks really good. freejumpin..hehe |
Tomb Raider with Parkour. Not enough Parkour, though. Still loads of fun, but nowhere near what I was expecting. |
^ Agreed. Apparently it's the first in a trilogy though. I'm expecting a lot more in ME2 and ME3 |
what do you mean not enough parkour, half the game is parkour... i loved the game, but i thought it was too short =o cool story though. |
been thinking about getting this but heard it's wayyy too short, like 5-6 hrs of story the demo was pretty awesome though.. such a trip when you fall and thud hahah |
i still havnt bother to play it |
I have it too...I find it difficult to control, gave up after the first 5 jump...lol |

It's something different from all the usual stuff being put out these days |
yeah its a pretty fun game. i think they should bring the 180 button to other first persons as it would increase game intenseness level tenfold. interesting to know there will be more- looking forward to sequels. |

The game was really short, too. And the first-person perspective could be really jarring at times. |
Watched a few trailers and it looks pretty interesting. Might give it a shot. |
the game gave me a headache after like the first 10mins. Otherwise a fun game. |
^ Turn down the mouse sensitivity. |
I have the demo, it's pretty fun. Haven't bought it yet cause I heard it's a game where you finish it and don't want to play again from the beginning. Ill buy it later maybe. |
Bought it Played it Finished it Loved it |

Bought it (@ EA for $20) Played it Finished it Loved it Traded it (For $35 at BBV LOL) |
downloaded this on PC gonna try it out! should be fun man. |
I think on PC it would be easier to control the movement but I played it on 360... rented and beat it in a couple days of half ass playing. The time trials are infuriating trying to get 3 stars... I just go on youtube and look at the best route and even then making all the jumps is hard as hell. Its a rental game for sure for me because once you have beat it the replay factor is very small. Berz out. |
i played the demo on ps3...i went through the tutourial twice....and then i was pretty good at controlling it....i like the song as well |
I downloaded it for PC too, btw. and @ Berz it's way easier on PC then it is on 360. I've tried both, and 360 is 200x harder then PC. Time Trials are way easier on PC too |
Am I the only one who found this game boring?! It has a lot of potential but it's quite linear. The fighting is pretty lame. I mean, they ENCOURAGE you to avoid fighting. You just jump around doing the same thing throughout the game and there is much else. I didn't give a rats ass bout the story either. Again, I thought this game has the potential and I'm sure the sequel will be awesome but this just didn't cut it for me. I think it got a average mark on IGN...7.0? 7.5? |
ME 2 and ME3? no way.'it was interesting to see this new type of first person running. I gotta say, if you likeit, you love it, if you don't, then u'llbe like.. falkkkk i have watch the girl lucy luu fall and then start all over again. soemtimes when you drop on ur 20th try, you just wnat to go turn it off and jump off a bridge. the response from this game was way lower than expected and i highly doubt there will be a larger audience in making ME2 then again, i might be wrong. the demo was decent, hot girls, some jumping, not fighting. the pacing and the music was ok, but eyah, no point playing it again after you're done. |
