FS: 1992 TSI AWD 6/4 Black Manual tranny
 

This is a for sale/feeler posting as its getting time to get rid of my car as unfortunately I only have a garage for two cars and we have 4 so my parents are pushing me to sell sell sell.

Short history of the car. Purchased it 4 years ago and have been living in Victoria, but I recently moved back to White Rock. I purchased the car with 125 000km and now its sitting at around 150,000km. I have all past receipts with regular maintenance. The car has been mechanically very sound and hasn't really left me stranded ever. Repairs were always down by Lowell Foo and sytnthetic oil changes always.

The car is a 6/4 bolt manual transmission. It has a full straight catback exhaust, KN air filter, and some free mods. It also has a kenwood sub, amp and pioneer deck. I have an autometer boost and a/f gauge.

The bad: The car should have its timing belt replaced as its starting to fray. Its with this issue that I am contemplating getting it fixed before I sell, or if someone is willing to tow the car themselves and replace it. Racing $$$$$ quoted me $400 for the belt replacement. The passenger side front brake is squeaky and needs to be looked at. Drivers side headlight fuse also needs to be replaced as the headlight doesn't work. And lastly the front passenger strut is blown which should be replaced to make driving more satisfying.

As well, because the car was in Victoria it would need to go through air care, which means you need a catalytic converter. So test driving the car I wouldn't recommend with the fraying belt as god forbid it broke the reprecasions would be bad. I would be selling it as is if the owner wanted to purchase the car and tow it away. The car has been amazing to me and I haven't had a day with it that I haven't enjoyed it. Here are some pics. looks like a clean car..i know someone that could do the work needed to be done since all my buddies have talons...are you located in victoria?..i guess since you are trying to get rid of cars a trade is out of the question?...please pm
