Does Pemberton Pub still have their ridiculously good prime rib dinner with the huge yorkshire pudding? Head chef Mike left and went to work at the BCIT Pub this past September, he tried to sell it there but I think it didn't go over well with students.

Downtown is going to be a mess tonight.

It's the hockey game, the Monster truck show, an opera(?) at the QE, and some sort of 30,000 person Christian Convention at Canada Place.

I'm not telling you my secret location but Pemberton is good. Most places you have to call to reserve seating nowadays though.....

Berz out.

Mananetwork 01-31-2009 03:39 PM

I want to go out and watch the match tonight too, I just can't find anybody who's going

Tegra_Devil 01-31-2009 04:18 PM

damn....i might have to check that place in west van....

Today's such a big fight that it's nearly impossible to head over to a pub. It's gonna be a gong show, People standing there blocking those who are sitting. So for better enjoyment, just head to a friend's place and call up your cable/satellite provider for the PPV. Then split the cost. I believe for bell it's $44.99 for Standard Def and $54.99 for High Def. The price for Shaw should be very similar. :)

I was going to go there as well, but last second decided to go to Seymours pub beside Cap College.

Showed up at 430 lol. Got wicked seats but to be honest I coulda walked in at 7pm and easily found a standing place.

Was it packed at the W.Van pub?

Tegra_Devil 02-02-2009 09:58 AM

i showed up at 655 and but got a great standing/lean spot
