Has anyone looked into this eg with a k20?

It seems too good to be true but just wondering if anyone has checked it in person

seems like it needs alot of work

I wouldn't recommend buying it.

Who installed the engine? Is it mounted firmly? The engine came from where? Does it have proper maintenance record and always fed with 91+ octane?

Check VCC and see if anyone on there knows about it.

Berz out.

You can always re-install the engine. Like the seller said, the engine is worth more than the asking price.

Also when you buy an engine, you virtually never get the service record. I don't know what world you're living in?

just curious but does it even run?

kumbo1 02-01-2009 08:50 PM

no. wiring is not installed. I buy it to part the motor and sell the body...

Rikaro 02-01-2009 09:55 PM

It's going to be a lot of work. It's not worth it unless you don't mind spending the time to build it up. It's going to be hella quick once it's done properly. sub 12 seconds anyone? :)

CL_S 02-01-2009 09:58 PM

Hmm so the motor is not even installed correctly eh....yeah i thought it was too good to be true...I guess that's why it is cheap...
How is the condition of the actual car itself? Is it a rebuilt car, any rust or accidents> Interior is stripped?
I couldn't actually get a hold of the owner to check it out...
So the condition it's in? you think it even worth 3500?

cdizzle_996 02-01-2009 10:22 PM

Not worth it.
