im sure they couldve come up with something. im pretty sure they didnt kill sylar because they needed him to keep the rest of the world at bay. with regards to healing nathan, from what i can remember, the past two occurences were possible because the victims were still alive..at least i think they were.

I think that when Bennett was shot through the eye and into his brain he was pretty dead.
