Cocktail/Margarita mixers or shakers

Anyone know where to get them cheap?

so far i checked out zellers at Brentwood
they were $20 but they were too big for my liking

I went to Sears and they were around $25

Checked out the dollar store and they were also $20. like wtf haha

and then i went to Walmart which cost $25 but includes a rack.

winner's has them for $12 for a normal one
kitchen stores like benix in metro have them for 10-15 dollars
pour spouts are cheapest at the liquor stores, i think $3 for 3, any other place sells them for like 2.99 each

Keep in mind that with a Boston style shaker you also require a separate strainer. The Cobbler style shaker which most people are familiar with includes a built in strainer. On the negative side, the Cobbler shaker tends to freeze up at the strainer and at the lid separation point.

I bought a Boston style shaker at Ming Wo for $15 I think.

I picked up a 3 piece shaker set at HomeSense (Lansdowne Mall) with a strainer included for $16.99

I also saw the other set that didn't include a strainer...

Pour ingredients into glass cup. Hold the metal tumbler bottom up and place it on top of the glass cup, then give it a gentle smack downward to make a secure seal. For safety, you should shake with one hand on the bottom of each end so it doesn't fly apart, and the glass half of the shaker should be pointed away from other people. Once vigorously shaken, place the shaker metal tumbler side down, and gently smack the middle to break the seal and remove the glass cup. Put your strainer over the metal tumbler and pour into serving glass.
