User accounts are messed What the fuck? I download some Window Blinds thing and there was a thing where I had to update my SID. It did just that, but now I am logged into a new user account and it has none of my shit it in. But I go to my computer and check users, there is now two user files. I am going to guess, my old one, with everything in it, and this new one, with nothing in it. How the hell do I log onto my original user? If it helps, the log in page, which I never went to on this computer since it was just one user, has two now. One random one which I have no idea what it is, has a username and a password that I do not know, and the one I am using now. Please help me out. I have a ton of important files in it. EDIT: More info in point form. - If you haven't figured out. All my old shit is still on my hard drive. The user however, is gone. I can't find it anywhere. - Logon screen Shows two accounts. One that says User, but isn't my old one. And one that says other user, which has an username and password box. - I can still view some of the files in my old user. - I know I am not on my old account because this user's documents has nothing in it. - I lie, I don't have important files in it. Just a ton of stuff I would need to re-download. - If you are wondering, the Window Blind's was pirated. :( - When I go to My Computer > Hard Drive > Users, It shows Public, User, and User.User-PC (I believe I am on this last one) - If this is a virus, I think Kaspersky might have found it before I downloaded Window Blinds, so I have a reason to believe that updating my SID with a key it provided me with, fucked my computer up. - Omg, I totally forgot about this. I updated my SID before to download Window Blinds before, but it was old so I downloaded another one today, which caused this mess. Is this problem I have because I updated my SID twice, possibly with the same code? If you need more info. Please post. |
