You have no idea how much better hospitalization is in thailand than canada alone.. I know people that work in large corporations, big money makers, that get their teeth (dentist shit) or other operations in thailand cause its cheaper and no waiting lists and they acctually treat you with respect... If you got money they will serve you... Not only that they dont promote tipping people, so when you do go and tip people, they are the happiest people in the world eventhough you only gave them $5 cad.. which is like an hours pay. Ive been to many places and byfar thailand is one of those countries that treat you with respect no matter what race you are. Especially if you own a house which my dad just bought last summer(waterfront), its soo much fun getting to know the people and getting weird looks cause i'm asian(cantonese) and i look thai, when i start speaking english they look at me with this weird look, that for some reason if can speak perfect english I should be white... I have half relatives that live in thailand, and whenever i visite they just love it when i give them gifts from canada(purdys chocolates) and all my leftover thai money (baht) no matter how much it is, they need it more than i do... |
