Touch up paint pen or not?

I have 3 rockchips on my hood from this winter and was wondering if I should go to the dealership and buy the paint pen to touch up these 3 spots. From what I've read the paint MIGHT turn yellow since the color is white. Any suggestions on how to take care of these spots properly? The chips are down to black primer or metal.. and it's pretty noticeable since my car is white and these spots are black. Anyone with experience with these pens?

yeah i'm having a similar problem.. except for my car is silver.
however I'm concerned about a few rust spot in the back where the spoiler bolt-on is...

i have not had good experience with paint pens. i've never been able to make the nibs last long, and they are expensive to replace.

a parts dept. dealer actually recommended me to go and have a small bottle mixed up at concept finishes in richmond. they are on bridgeport rd. west of garage five.

hopefully you only have a single-stage paint finish because if it's 2-stage you have to apply clear separately and that gets complicated for DIY.

when i asked this question on RS, i was given this link:

i've also used http://www.langka.com to clean up my mess afterwards, but it's been a hit/miss for me in getting good results :(

^ Thanks for your input.

Where did you get the Langka, was it locally?

Time to revive this thread.

Anyone know where one can obtain a Langka or other decent touch-up pen? The OEM stuff kinda sucks.

Car is a Mercedes if it makes a difference.
