this would be good for someone who looses their phones or attach it to pets or hide it in your car so when your car is stolen, you know exactly where it is

They mean for it to be used so people will walk down the street, staring at their phones the whole time and be able to go, "ZOMGWTFBBQz0Rs my buddy Billy Bob is a block away!" And you need data to see your friends if you're on the move.

I have it installed on the work BB, and already added one friend to the list..

* thinking about creating a group so we can all track each other, rename u as the username , say Hi when i see you at Espot or in Richmond ;)

This is also good for company BB's - to make sure the employee is really sick:)

Reminds me of that Homer Simpson episode where they track Bart via phone.

My friend got it on his iphone. It's funny, we were at some bar last weekend and we found out his friend was 50m away from us. The program is pretty cool.

^just update your google maps to version 3.0.1 and latitude is included

got mine today =D

Installed it on my BB today. Seems to work pretty well (well, as good as my GPS signal which is spotty at best inside my house)

anyone install this on a Rogers/Fido Iphone and got it to work? let me know!

maybe i should install it for fun to try it out
