excuse me for asking a really dumb question but how do the speaker secure themselves on these stands? I'm thinking screws would be needed but that would fubar the bottom of my bookshelves. |
there are holes on the bottom of the mounting plate so you could drill screws into the bottom of your speakers. this is optional, usually the weight of the speakers is good enough to keep it in place. there are also foam pads at the corners, these grip onto the speakers a bit. fyi, the speaker cable can be run up the bottom of the stand and out a hole at the top rear. |
