Light meters What kind is a decent one and why? I guess I'm looking for something under $300... Can I even get something decent for under that price? Do most of you use a light meter for your shots? Thanks |
The Sekonic L358 is a decent one and it costs about $350. |
^ yeah i love mine. you can sometimes find them on craigslist for 250 i think |
Any reason why you'd pick that one over others? Sorry, I know nothing about light meters :( |
Sekonic seems to have gotten the monopoly on light meters in the professional market after Minolta left the market. Actually, Kenko bought Minolta's light meter line, but since the Kenko name isn't a high end name, they've kind of fallen by the wayside. I can still get them, as they are excellent light meters. The one thing the Sekonics have over the Kenko meters is the ability to wirelessly trigger Pocket Wizards, but the attachment for those are stupidly expensive. |
Hey Senna, do you have the Sekonic L358 in stock? Thanks |
I think so, but they did go up in price. |
How much are they? |
$400ish. |
Sh*t. |
Anything decent for less than $400? |
Nothing in stock. |
Thanks. |
check out craigslist i see them on there once in a while |
Gonna look at one tomorrow, and most likely buy it :D |
Well I got it... now I got to learn how to use it... :S |
|
Nice! |
