Any local places with good wheel brushes?
 

Im looking for a good wheel brush like the one Swissvax offers, the Zymol one sucks it falls apart so easily. I'd buy the swissvax ones off the net but no canadian sites have it, and I don't really want to buy a couple from a US site for 20 bucks and then pay 25 bucks to have it shipped here.

do those actually work?!!??! the only ones that work for my wheels are the wheel brushes from Walmart in the states with the blue and black bristles with grey and blue handle :P

Even with waxed wheels! :( i blame my hawk pads

what are some good ones that aren't so small. I felt the rim brushes at the walmart on Grandview and the bristles seemed very rough. kind of scared the brush will scratch the rims.

Those swissvax brushes are apparently really good quality and last a long time. However, they are somewhat pricey. $10.95/brush is quite a bit. People have found a similar brush at Michaels for a lot cheaper. However, when I went I only found the China version. There is a german version that is just as good as that swissvax brush. For brushes to get the inside of the rims I would recommend the EZ-Detail brush. Although very pricey, apparently it's worth it. I haven't gotten around to trying it but everybody has excellent review about it. It lasts a long time as well.

I have a Micahels brush which made in China. I've had it for a few months now and love using it with P21S Wheel Gel.

Go to any Harley Davidson shop and pickup their spoke brush which is very similar to the EZ Detail Brush.

I should go take a look, do you know how much it costs? The Michaels brush from China apparently, is a lot less stiff than the German one. The German one is better for cleaning the wheels, where the China one is good for interiors. I returned my China ones, well got my mom too since she had to go. I'm going to look for the German ones next time.

It was a few dollars. I couldn't find the ones made in Germany, but the ones in China work well enough for me. Let me know if you find the German ones.

Forgive my noobness, what are these wheel brushes used for?

Not a noob question, it has the obvious use for rims (mostly the face of the rims), door jambs, around emblems, grills, trims, and in between the cracks of body panels:thumbsup:

They are good for getting those tight spots in the interior as well

Oh I use the same one for the first part of cleaning my wheels! They're great. Then I use a brush I have from autoglym, has a lot of bristles at the tip to get into the small spots. Plastic bristles.

so has anyone found out which location sells the China ones and which sells the German ones from micheals?

The on at Marine and Bryne sells the China ones. The Germans are available in the US. Looked all over couldn't find them
