JESUS CHRIST LOOK AT THAT THROTTLE BODY! IT'S BIGGER THEN A WATERMELON!!

Sorry, couldn't resist :p But honestly, I don't think have any other option. I'd probably do the same run you have pictured.

NashMan 02-08-2009 09:04 PM

hey mine is misstake i wanted a 80 but got 90 oh well still work fine for what i am shooting for on the new mtoro after i blew up tester motor

Gyuji 02-08-2009 09:11 PM

Hey if it fits under the hood, why not? Couldn't get any straighter than that.

Enraged 02-09-2009 08:48 AM

lame, but it does look like your best option. with the turbo cut down and the elbow welded on it won't be as bad, just have to make sure the inside is nice and smooth after welding.

Fleemer 02-09-2009 11:16 AM

how many watermelons per second will the engine devour? :P

NashMan 02-09-2009 11:49 AM

sad part is i hate it

time to sit in chair and think this over

or get another exhuast manfold hummm

NashMan 02-09-2009 01:21 PM

what about this way it not helpen performace at all just a diffent look

Enraged 02-09-2009 02:44 PM

what about using a spacer on the manifold?

dustinb 02-09-2009 04:13 PM

The 2nd option looks better, but it's a way tighter bend where it mates up to the turbo.

rubber tubing? :P

Black SC2 02-10-2009 06:30 AM

Do the first one and get the damn thing running!

Paradox 02-10-2009 08:05 PM

guess you won't be able to run it underneath? or is the exhaust manifold in the way too much?

GregM 02-10-2009 09:26 PM

subaru style, intercooler on top!

You could look at cutting the turbo outlet so that its closer to the turbo, then weld on a elbow so that the angle isn't as sharp.

Found an example similar to your first option. Granted this is in a '67 camaro, but the idea is the same.
