Low Profile Jacks

Some of you must have lowered rides. I'm getting tired of using my spare tire jack and then using my other jack.

Which ones do you guys recommend and how much did you pay? I am eying the michelin one at CT if anyone has that one please comment

powerfist @ princess auto.

exactly the same as the michelin one but no michelin logo and $100 cheaper.

I have a race jack from Harour Freight: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=92782

I also have a 3 ton jack that I got from Costco.

If you have money, AC Jacks are awesome: http://www.drivewerks.com/catalog/sh...yd1-detail.htm

I use a set of wooden planks and drive my car up on those first, then use a regular jack. Hell of a lot cheaper than buying a low-profile jack.

Got mine from costco a few months back. Best 59.99 i've EVER spent. Got under my del sol with 2" of clearance.

Yeah, I've done that wooden plank thing before when I had a garage and alot of space. Lving in a condo now with a sqeeze for space.

I think I'll splurge and go the Costco Route- They have a crazy return policy.

3.5in min and 27in max height.

The Harbour freight I got many years ago and paid roughly $80. I picked up in store and brought it back.

I dunno - for a $100 I'd rather just have a new nice aluminum jack that jacks up faster and higher than the old crapy one, and I don't have to fiddle with planks!

If Costco has it for $59.99 - I'll go buy another one, cuz that's a GREAT price!

i have the one from lordco, forgot the brand... 3 pumps and its all the way up! lol

costco dont carry it anymore. but the low pro jack is pretty damn good.

TRDood 02-09-2009 11:13 PM

i just pay $10 at the dealer to change my winters to summers / vice versa along with my oil change appointment.

although i have went to volco and they wanted $40 to change them.. lol

any cheap places around? i don't want to do it myself because i usually break something along the way or scratch up my lug nuts / rims
