Guess jeans

So what do u guys think about Guess Jeans compared to other brand Jeans? I see that Guess "premium" jeans goes for about $188 for mens..are they really good quality jeans and last for a long time? Are they just a total rip-off? Thanks in advance for you inputs.

I dunno about the premium ones but the regular ones are solid, but do tend to fade easily

Sid Vicious 02-11-2009 11:48 AM

you can do alot better for the price

bossxx 02-11-2009 12:10 PM

I have a few pairs of both premium and regular and to be honest I don't see much of a difference in quality.

If you're considering a pair of ~$200 Guess "Premium" jeans I think you're better off buying some Diesel's instead!

bossxx 02-11-2009 03:06 PM

Aren't Diesel's more than 200?

F3 02-11-2009 04:06 PM

^Not always, depends on when and where you buy them from.

NimbeeTT 02-11-2009 06:11 PM

Guess jeans are a bit overpriced imo. But the quality is no doubt good, though they do fade quickly =/
i dont really see a difference between regular and premium either. hmm

Nvasion 02-11-2009 06:16 PM

screw that.. .drive to seattle and buy some RR or TR lol

nosleepboy87 02-11-2009 06:42 PM

i only buy guess jeans when they have their big sales
usually pay 50ish for a pair of regular...and their premium...quality wise is a rip....they are the same as regular...
if you wanna pay 200 for jeans..i rather get COH or SFAM or TR or RR

Splmash 02-11-2009 08:11 PM

Quality is about the same as Diesels. Premiums do set you back $188 per, and they do have some decent cuts. Premiums are pretty much the regular ones with a slightly more fitted cut and an altered rise. They are a tad bit heavier but IMO, not worth the money.

As for COH, SFAM, TR or RRs... don't be a fool.

queensbourough(sp?) guess outlet has cheaper denim. $110 reg. denim down to $54 and there are times where they have additional discounts (20% additional most common)

nosleepboy87 02-12-2009 02:41 PM

if you are down that area it would be good to check out the queensbourough outlet strip mall...most shops have an outlet store there
lots of cheap stuff

I love Guess, and the style and quality they make. I have a pair of light wash low rise Guess jeans (just regular). They retail for like $100 ish, but I got them at Winners for $45. I wasnt expecting much, but the have become my favorite jeans. The only thing I dont like is that around the thighs they have become quite baggy and kind of stretched...
I also got a sweet Guess sweater recently for like $100, its part wool/cotton zip hoody... again, i love it.

I had a pair of regular Guess Jeans... bought them solely on the price alone. They were $135 retail, on sale for $79.99 and then they had 50% off sale items or whatever.

They were ok jeans for $35 but I definitely wouldn't buy them for $80 or $135. They ripped at the knees fairly easily and this is the only pair of jeans I've had rip in that area.

I only buy Levi's 501s now... I find they're the best bargain for $80. I can't justify spending more than that on a pair of pants... unless they're hockey pants that is.

got black jeans from marciano if you a girl it was on sale for only 50 somethings reg price was 190

canucksfan 02-13-2009 11:54 PM

Only get Guess for their regular jeans, premium are a rip. I usually get them from the Queensborough outlet, super cheap.

nosleepboy87 02-15-2009 05:53 PM

do they even have a good size run at the outlet? is it all like 34+ and super long

LC21 02-15-2009 09:44 PM
