whenever you post, "oh fuck my life i'm so broke i need to hunt rabbits" it's a cry for help. Instead you refuse it by claiming you don't need to rely on charity.
Dumb troll. | Not really. I understand what he's saying. Some people would rather go without than rely on charity. Our family was like that. We were poor, but we never lined up for our food. Good on him and he's probably right. There are a lot worse off people out there. When times are tough you become creative. I think hunting for food and whatnot is a great idea. I really wonder sometimes what would happen if the economy got so bad that it turns out to be like a depression. I think most people would lose it and there would be big time chaos in the streets. So used to the good life and being spoiled. A colleague of mine once told me, "You're richer than you think, because of what you went through." He was right. It makes sense now. The humbling experience of having nothing and learning the value of the things you have, like your health, family, etc. Take nothing for granted. It could be that if times get tougher, I may not be able to adjust, either. I swore never to be that hungry or poor again.
Getting away from being too serious, I think we should have an RS rabbit meet. Go out to those places mentioned, catch us some rabbits, and have a BBQ. BBQ rabbit and home brewed beer, FTW.:) |
