Jack purcells

Hey where can I find black leather jack purcells in vancouver? I did a search and most of the topics are old, same with google.

What are the prices here in vancouver? i've never bought jack purcells in vancouver before.

Harvey Specter 02-17-2009 11:49 PM

http://www.gravitypope.com/ might have them.

I also had a tough time finding leather jp's in Vancouver so I purchased a pair of limited edition hi-top black leather velcro jp’s from the Neiman Marcus in Vegas last year.

Took me 10mins but I finally found it on their site. Thanks man, but I was wondering:

Does anyone know the prices of these shoes in the states? specifically the converse store in one of the outlets.

LC21 02-18-2009 07:00 AM

wow you made a thread that could easily be looked over within 10mins?!

around 40bucks in the states.
90 i think at livestock

unit 02-18-2009 10:11 AM

40 in the states? i paid $70 at the UNDFTD store in LV (then again they were leather not canvas)

This question gets asked every 5 minutes in somebodys mind

Goodfoot. Livestock. BoysCo. All for around the same price, $90.

Converse store in the Seattle Premium Outlet doesn't have Jack Purcells, ever. Don't even bother trying there.

bcedhk 02-18-2009 10:59 AM

portland outlets useless have JP's. El kartel always have JP's on sale on boxing day.

I bought my Purcells from the Premium Outlet... $19.99 but they were the black/white cloth ones with a strip of leather on the back, not full leather.

Actually, they are quite comfortable after a short break-in period. I didn't get them at first either, never liked the All Star cons, but after I got my 1st pair of JP's, I was hooked. Oh yeah, they are very easy to match with jeans. One of my top reasons I like em.

unit 02-19-2009 03:28 PM

^i like both.. but neither are comfortable without nice insoles.

My bad, I meant the full leather ones

And i'm pretty sure Gdft/Livestock/BoysCo still has purcells. try asking the staff

duly noted
i guess people like the ultra casual look. i just don't see how they provide any ankle support and the soles look like they would provide more hurt than comfort/cushioning.
jack purcells are essentially rebadged converse allstars i presume?

if you want you could say the jack purcells are just a rebadged and slightly different chuck taylor lowtops. I prefer the flat soles over arched ones. I wear a pair of nike running shoes (the ones with the arch support) for gym and my feet hurt like a bitch afterwords.

mickz 02-19-2009 09:16 PM

Purcells and Chucks are slightly different... I own both and I would say the lining and overall build quality of the Purcells is better.

As for your problem with your feet, are you using the arch supports (the little red foam things) that came with the shoe? I don't see how they would do much, if anything. I've always just left them out of my Nikes that came with them. Try a pair of Asics running shoes with the Duomax in the inside of the midsole. The 1000, 2000 and Kayano series all have this feature. I'm on my second pair of Asics and that's all I'll ever buy from now on.

LC21 02-19-2009 09:51 PM

i dont see how you can even put arch support in the argument. These flat sole shoes clearly dont have arch support.
Mabe Try airmax's?
K question answered. Lock?

--> SMALL Q's thread?

Splmash 02-21-2009 08:45 AM

I bought my Purcells at Goodfoot for hella cheap... but I get hella hookups.

- kT 02-21-2009 10:04 AM

^ Exactly, they do have em

And yeah, if you even know 1 or 2 of the staff, you can get it for way cheaper too
Fraser gave me a big discount when I got em, but that was like...8 months back

So if they didn't have leather JP's anymore, I wouldn't know.

Good idea to call places and ask, OP

Expresso 03-02-2009 11:45 AM

Browns has the white ones online, maybe the stores might have the black ones. not sure.
