question about booking flights online (insurance)

guys I need help with booking plane tickets.

On the Air Canada website right now. There's like a bunch of insurance packages to choose from. Which one should I choose?

Deluxe Package Cancellation - Accident - Baggage - Medical
Classic Medical Plan Medical only (must be under 60 yrs)
Non-Medical Package Cancellation - Accident - Baggage
Cancellation and Interruption Cancellation and interruption
RBC Travel Insurance declined

I think I'm going for the RBC one because it's preselected and it's $0

Am I covered at all? It doesn't say anything on the website

"declined" means that you're declining insurance.

I can't select your insurance coverages - you will have to select what you want and need, based on what you can (or cannot) afford to happen. Things to consider:
- length of your trip
- where you're going
- how badly you can afford a trip cancellation or interruption.

Keep in mind that you can purchase travel insurance from other carriers as well.

Some of these appear to cover out-of-country medical expenses, others cover trip cancellation & interruption, while others provide various package deals.

First, you need to decide what type of insurance your require. Or, if you feel you want all of them. Where are you travelling? If outside of Canada you definitely want at least medical coverage. If you're spending a lot on trip costs (i.e. flights) you may want trip cancellation/interruption insurance in case you can't make the flight for a reason such as sickness.

Second, names like "deluxe" and "classic" are product brand names. That does nothing to explain the coverage. It may be good, it may not be. Further information is required to determine that.
